We are excited to announce the first regional rural art contests for Utah! This is a pilot program for all of our rural areas. We hope to expand these contest throughout the rural areas of the state.
The Great Basin Art Contest
PIUTE, WAYNE, and GARFIELD counties are eligible.
2022 Theme: What does your home mean to you?
Think outside of the box. What is home? How do the places and communities we live in feel like home? What is unique and special about where you live and what you experience?
Submit by Feb 15th
Sponsored by: The Byway and the Utah Art Education Association
There will be one first place winner for:
Elementary school
Middle school
High school
First place winner in each level will receive A Gift Card For $50.00 in art prizes, and their artwork featured in the BYWAY newspaper.
Second and Third place winners will receive a certificate and all winners will have their artwork featured on our social media platforms.
